First of all, welcome to our website! We hope you like our work.

This is our first blog entry at TankFall FX, the first of many. Our aim is to keep you guys up to date with projects, events and what we're up to in general.

If you haven't already seen, TankFallFX is a special effects studio, we specialise in Animatronics, Prosthetics, VFX, Props, Costumes and everything gorey. We aim to deliver top class work to any film, tv, web series, theatre or event project, what ever the budget.

The Primary members of TankFallFX are:

Jack Threlfall - Animatronic Designer, Sculpter, Prosthetic artist, Animation Puppet maker, Makeup artist, Concept artist, Costume designer, Prop maker, Monster maker and Gore Specialist.

Will Clinker - Animatronic Designer, Animation puppet maker, Prosthetic artist, Sculpter, Makeup artist, Stop Frame Animator, Monster maker Gore Specialist

Jack Taylor - VFX specialist, Stop Frame Animator, Editor, Prosthetic artist, Sculpter, Concept artist,

Jack, Will & Jack all attended the same Special Effects course at Southapton Solent University. As the class was quite small they became close and worked together during their univeristy projects. This is when they decided to start the creation of their own company and studio. The name TankfallFX was coined together using the surnames of Jack, Will & Jack - TAylor + cliNKer + threlFALL = TankFall.

TankFallFX have been involved with a number of independant films, with more in the pipeline. These include - 'Deluded', 'Into the Grey' and 'Wander'. Helping create these films has given us at TankFallFX strong relationships with directors, producers and more. We love being on set and showing of our creations.

We have recently added three more specialists to the TankFallFX team. All three new recruits are from Southamton Solent University and have worked with us in the past. They will be great assets to the comapny and we are excited to get them started up with a project. Lastly, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a stand at the FilmSouth filmmaking convention. We will be performing live prosthetic applications, showing off animatronics and hoping to meet more filmmakers. We have also been asked to give a seminar on applying prosthetics and some tips for new sfx artists. We may have a few freebees so if you see us come and say hi, we'd be more than happy to have a chat.
